ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. · Familiarization and Confidentiality with Emergency Contact sheets for all Residents. · Reports to Manager/Administrator the need for alterations to; maintenance of; upkeep or re-conditioning of grounds and building and any possible unsafe condition. · Maintains positive resident relations. · Respond to Emergency Situations by providing immediate assistance, which includes notifying the appropriate emergency agency and/or vendor and also notifies appropriate staff of the situation and/or completes incident reports. · Assists Residents with requests such as lockouts. · Assists with Resident Activities as directed. · Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Do: As the hotel’s second in command, the Assistant General Manager is integral to the seamless day-to-day functioning of the hotel. Job Overview Do you have a background in facility maintenance or operations and a knack for coordinating complex service contracts? DFW Airport is looking for a Facilities Services Supervisor to help manage and monitor contracted services across our world-class airport. This vital role bridges technical operations, quality control, and contractor relations to ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and efficient for travelers and staff alike. What You’ll Do: Develop contract specifications and oversee vendor performance across facility services including electrical, mechanical, or custodial operations. Serve as liaison between the Energy, Transportation & Asset Management (ETAM) department and other internal stakeholders to streamline contract execution and compliance. Evaluate contractor performance and enforce contract standards through inspections, benchmarks, and quality audits. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and provide solutions that align with airport performance expectations. Collaborate with Quality Control Technicians to prioritize and adjust service schedules to meet operational needs and respond to emergencies. Assist with the environmental compliance responsibilities and report performance improvements or concerns to the Environmental Affairs Department. Maintain detailed documentation of contract activities, inspections, and performance issues. Deep knowledge of quality assurance methods, contract interpretation, and performance evaluation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Strong skills in inspection, scheduling, estimation, and problem-solving. Effective communication skills, with a knack for balancing contractor relations and internal expectations. Familiarity with statistical analysis, recordkeeping, and reporting. Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in business, engineering, or successful completion of a recognized trade program (e.g., HVAC, electrician, facility technician). 3 years of experience in facility maintenance or custodial services (electrical, mechanical, or custodial focus depending on vacancy). Valid Class C driver’s license. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Preferred Qualifications (Desirable): Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering. 3 years of supervisory experience in facilities, custodial, or trade services. *RESPONSIBILITIES* * ➢ Monitor construction activities by contractors against the approved Baseline Schedule and 3 Week Look Ahead schedules and report discrepancies to the CM * ➢ Assist the CM in the field to resolve issues and provide a conduit to the field personnel and stakeholders. * ➢ Provide support to, and as directed by, the Project/Construction Manager, including activities related to: * Assisting with the verification of quantities related to progress payments of construction contractors. * Monitoring non-conforming work and working with QC Management to swiftly address Quality Issues and NCRs * Coordinating closure requests, inspections, Part 139 issues with DFW Operations Coordination * Leading the Discrepancy close-out process with our Contractors and OPs. Attend and represent the PM/CM in theweekly Part 139 Discrepancy Review Meeting. * Coordination with EAD on environmental field issues/concerns including SWPPP compliance. * Assisting the CM with coordinating with the QA Inspection Team * ➢ Assist the CM with monitoring the contractor’s implementation and follow-through of the approved quality control plan, construction plans and specifications. * ➢ Provide AOA coordination and escort services, as required. * ➢ Ensure environmental aspects and impacts within the span of control of the position are identified and timelycommunicated to applicable personnel and operation changes to Environmental Affairs Division. * ➢ Assist the CM with other construction management related tasks, as necessary. * ➢ Use computer-based construction management software (e.g., Unifier.) * *PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS*➢ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project or Construction Management preferred. ➢ Minimum of five (5) years of experience in performing similar inspection activities on aviation projects. ➢ Must possess general knowledge in civil, airfield electrical and structural construction. ➢ Must be able to obtain a SIDA-cleared badge at DFW. ➢ Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license and be able to obtain a certification to drive in DFW’s AOA movement area. ➢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
