EQUINOXX AVIATION SERVICES is a fast-growing company focused on delivering superior quality propeller-driven aircraft maintenance and avionics services for its customers including:

· General maintenance and repair.

· Annual, 100-hour, pre-purchase, safety, airworthiness, and other inspections.

· Preventative maintenance

· Avionics service and installation

· Propeller service and repair.

EQUINOXX AVIATION SERVICES is looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented Avionics Technician, with a background in the aircraft or automobile industry.

Our Avinocs Technician will be a key member of our team and will contribute significantly to our growing reputation as the place our customers trust for maintenance of their aircraft. Our Avionics Technician will have opportunities to succeed by working with our technical teams to help improve our processes, maintenance efficiency, and customer recognized quality.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoots and repair all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft.
  • Under limited direction, performs the removal/installation of avionics components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics systems.
  • Reassembles aircraft interior, instrument panels, and avionics equipment bays following the successful installation of wiring avionics systems and components.
  • Ensures all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.
  • Learns, understands, and follows the Company work order and parts requisition process as written.

Required:

  • High school diploma
  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • Excellent analytical, attention-to-detail, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Previously/Currently held Repairman Certificate a Plus
  • Airframe Certificate / FCC License a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Repairman Certificate (Preferred)
