Job Responsibilities Demonstrates a safe and compliant work environment by complying with Safety Policy and Procedures Manual and General Maintenance Manual policies and procedures as well as ensuring compliance of subordinates. Submits manual revisions as required for any identified ineffective processes and/or procedures. The Maintenance Control Supervisor is responsible to the Maintenance Operations Manager/Maintenance Manager/Site Manager for the supervision of organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft under contract to Amentum at NAS Pensacola or off-site locations. This position is responsible to direct, coordinate and monitor all maintenance/material actions necessary to retain or restore aircraft, material, equipment, or components to a serviceable condition with a minimum expenditure of resources in the most efficient practical manner. Essential Responsibilities: The Maintenance Control Supervisor shall have an in-depth working knowledge of the CNAFINST 4790.2 Series and all applicable T/M/S technical publications which apply to applicable T/M/S specific aircraft as well have a working knowledge of the Special Inspections, Technical Directives, Aircraft Configuration requirements for flight operations. Must have a complete understanding of the requirements to Release Aircraft Safe for Flight, monitor maintenance SCIR documentation via the NALCOMIS/OOMA system, review Aircraft Weight and Balance forms for accuracy, direct scheduled/unscheduled maintenance actions to meet operational tasking identified by the government/flight schedule, ensure brief to aircrew prior to Functional Check Flights (FCF), review aircrew documentation of aircraft FCF performance, authorize cannibalization, coordinate Depot Level Inspection/Repair actions, assign workload priorities, manage awaiting maintenance and material status, manage T/M/S Aircraft configuration, screen, liaison with Quality Assurance, notify Govt. Experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance preferred. Must be knowledgeable of technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 Series. General Summary: The Maintenance Manager will lead and oversee all maintenance operations within our MRO facility. This role ensures that all maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards (FAA, EASA, etc.), OEM specifications, and internal quality systems. The Maintenance Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians and support staff, driving performance, safety culture, and continuous improvement across all maintenance functions. Essential Job Functions: Operational Leadership Direct and oversee all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. Team Management & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support staff. Utilize the skills assessment tool to foster employee career development, establish shop capability goals and achieve shop-training standards Conduct regular performance reviews, skills assessments, and training plans to ensure technical proficiency and career development. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for customer maintenance programs, ensuring clear communication and high satisfaction. Provide regular updates on project status, KPIs, and operational challenges to senior leadership and clients. Collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery. Continuous Improvement & Cost Control Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround time (TAT), and control costs. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive operational excellence. Monitor and report on departmental KPIs, including productivity, reliability, quality, and budget adherence.
