Job Description
Hands-on building maintenance across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs; support safe, functional facilities.
Responsibilities:
- General handyman tasks (carpentry, drywall, painting, furniture repairs)
- Basic maintenance on lighting, doors/locks, HVAC filters
- Routine plumbing repairs
- Minor electrical work (replace fixtures/outlets/switches)
- Event setups and minor remodeling; assist departments
- Support airport flight line as needed; escort vendors/contractors
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas; follow safety procedures
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years general building maintenance
- HVAC/electrical experience a plus
- Tool proficiency; troubleshooting & time management
- Work independently; good communication; basic computer skills
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs; ladders; extended standing
- Familiarity with OSHA/safety codes a plus
