JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION:
Line MX Avionics Supervisor - First Shift
DEPARTMENT: Line MX
LOCATION: Oscoda, MI
REPORTS TO: Line MX Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
  • Ensure All Avionics personnel on respective shift conduct highest quality maintenance in a safe and timely manner
  • Support and enforce all company policies per Handbook and Safety Manual.
  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance is performed to FAA Regulations
  • Ensure shop personnel are properly trained.
  • Ensure shop personnel are properly equipped.
  • Advise manager of tooling requirements.
  • Monitor personnel attendance and punctuality. Correct any deficiencies.
  • Ensure any material requirements are met for all projects.
  • Coordinate with shift "LEAD" to carry out any assigned tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10 + years Avionics commercial aircraft experience.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate preferred, but not required.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate; some college and/or technical school.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
