Avionics Technician

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in ensuring the reliability and safety of aircraft electronic systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of avionics systems and components, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations, ensuring all work meets industry and Government standards.

Duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of avionics systems and components on various helicopters.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Conduct thorough inspections of avionics equipment to identify issues or malfunctions.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for design modifications and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations during all maintenance activities.
• Document all work performed accurately, maintaining records for quality assurance.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Avionics Technician or in a similar role within the aviation industry or United States military.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring, soldering, and circuit analysis.
• Proficient in using meters and other precision measuring tools for accurate assessments.
• Ability to militarise avionics systems as required by specific project needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
