Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and facilities maintenance, along with the ability to lead and supervise maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and machinery.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs.
• Supervise and lead maintenance staff in daily tasks and projects.
• Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and schematics.
• Leadership experience in supervising maintenance teams is a plus.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team.
• Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
