What the position is Maintenance Controllers are responsible for monitoring all aircraft maintenance activity outside of heavy maintenance. Essential functions: Supervise maintenance work processes, coordinating between all departments and outside contract agencies Input & update the required data into the Company computer system Monitor all open MEL/CDL deferred items on a continuous basis Prioritize and maintain continuing effort to clear MEL/CDL’s per deferral guidelines Monitor the maintenance status of all in-service aircraft and coordinate maintenance activity in case of a discrepancy Initiate and expedite the movement of parts and personnel when required to recover out of service aircraft Coordinate the routing aircraft to accomplish operational positioning requirements with Technical Operations Planner and Operations Coordinate the activities of and set priorities for Line Maintenance personnel Execute required paperwork and forms in accordance with Company policies and procedures Notify the appropriate Inspection personnel whenever an RII is identified Perform other duties, as assigned General requirements & qualifications: Must hold a current Airframe and Powerplant certificate and be able to obtain appropriate authorizations required for RII Inspection and Airworthiness Release 1-2 years of line maintenance experience preferred High School diploma or equivalent Must be legally authorized to work in the US Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license and passport Intermediate computer skills in MS office products and able to learn company maintenance software Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken Able to multitask in a stressful and deadline-driven environment Previous line maintenance and/or supervisory experience preferred

This role involves overseeing maintenance control for 10 to 12 aircraft, with the potential to reduce this number as our team grows. The Maintenance Controller will ensure compliance with FAA, Manufacturers, and Company regulations, policies, and requirements. Responsibilities Ensure line maintenance performs aircraft maintenance within compliance of all FAA, Manufacturers, and Company regulations, policies, and requirements. Discuss all pilot reports and non-routine items with respective line station/line mechanics as each aircraft terminates. Monitor all work progress at the line stations, assuring systematic troubleshooting and timely correction of discrepancies, providing technical assistance as required. Coordinate the movement of required parts to the aircraft. Monitor discrepancies reported daily to identify chronic non-routine items. Approve and record all items that are deferred or carried over. Ensure all work request items and scheduled maintenance are in order for timely completion of each task. Monitor all check remaining times on a continuing basis. Make controlled work assignments to address pilot reports, deferred items, carried-over items, or chronic problems. Maintain daily log of all maintenance activities, including all discrepancies by aircraft registration numbers. Evaluate the effectiveness of the Maintenance Program at the practical level and alert the Director of Maintenance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $44.00/hr. JOB DESCRIPTION: MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER A& P FLSA STAUS: NON-EXEMPT REPORT TO: MANAGER OF MAINTENANCE CONTROL The Maintenance Controller is responsible for coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft. This is an office position (non-remote). The incumbent will be required to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance to Dallas. TX HQ. Various shifts are available. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Duties Ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Manage off-site maintenance and scheduling for maintenance events involving Company aircraft. Update the maintenance tracking system whenever a deferral is opened, closed, and or updated. Ensure planned and unplanned maintenance for MEL’s are performed within the deadline of MEL’s and in accordance with the Company and OEM manuals. Provide troubleshooting advice as required to Company and contract/vendor personnel. Update the aircraft times, cycles, dates, etc. daily in the maintenance tracking system for each aircraft, engine, and propeller. Provide the group and Company personnel with a daily overview of all aircraft technical status, open defects and short-term maintenance events (30 days or less). Answer phones and emails while on duty to coordinate maintenance events with maintenance providers. Keep GOC/SOCC informed of aircraft status. Audit approved maintenance providers per the GMM and assist in maintaining authorized vendor data base. Verify documents prior to release of an aircraft from maintenance. Track unscheduled maintenance events per the CASS program. Coordinate technical publications in support of approved vendors. Ensure material requirements for any defects made when stockroom personnel or parts purchasing personnel are gone for the day is ordered and tracking numbers provided. Work with other departments as required (i.e., line maintenance, base maintenance, maintenance planning, quality, RII inspectors, records, etc.). Prioritize equipment repair needs. Assist with training other Maintenance Controllers as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Maintenance Control and/or the DOM. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum age of 21 years old. FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
