As a SkyWest Supervisor, you will be given the opportunity to lead by example, set a positive work atmosphere for your department, and promote our guiding principles. Prioritize, oversee, and assign duties to mechanics and part technicians Prioritize workload at the local and regional levels. Review open work orders and ensure completion Manages and prioritizes online maintenance requests Monitor work performed in the shop for accuracy and thoroughness. Assist mechanics as needed Open work orders in fleet as needed. Review outstanding work orders in the region Attend local hub/ramp meetings Safety/Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver’s license High school diploma or completion of a GED Pass a background check and drug screening Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Familiar with and be able to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals Have at least one year automotive/ground service equipment related experience or training Preferred: Previous Supervisor/management experience Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications Physical and Other Requirements Comfortably lift 75 lbs. routinely with or without a reasonable accommodation Possible/minimal travel as needed-multiple day trips and overnights (Flying and Driving) This is a full-time position, starting at $28 to $31 an hour Tool allowance of $75 per month Time and a half pay when traveling for work This is not a Department of Transportation Safety-Sensitive position.
