As an Advanced Field Service Engineer (FSE) here at Honeywell, you will provide full time technical support to Boeing Sikorsky Aircraft Support (BSAS). You will be responsible for providing expertise that supports the operation, diagnosis and repair of Avionic Systems. The Advanced FSE must communicate effectively with personnel at all levels and provide timely feedback to enable informed decisions. The Advanced FSE must be able to interface effectively in a team environment by communicating with Honeywell and BSAS logistic support groups. The Advanced FSE may be required to attend meetings or to perform troubleshooting assistance at various locations within the assignment area. The Advanced FSE shall become familiar with applicable avionic maintenance manuals, tech data, and Honeywell processes pertaining to system operation. You will report directly to our Sr Field Service Manager and work 100% at the Client site located at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide expertise that supports the operation and maintenance of Honeywell Avionic systems installed on 160 th SOAR aircraft Provide technical support to BSAS/160 th customer on day-to-day basis pertaining to operational and training issues regarding avionic operation, helicopter interface and Line Replaceable Units (LRU) diagnostics Interface with Customer Support Program Manager, engineering, logistic support groups, and to the End User to make informed decisions for avionic systems operation and maintenance Make decisions on replacement vs. repair for repairable parts when issue is not covered by published technical data Investigate and report technical issues and logistics problems Collect data to support engineering and other program personnel to develop findings, conclusions and recommendations for reported field issues Participate and support on-site technical presentations Assist in the review, data collection and investigation of test results Prepare and present field activity status and summary of outstanding technical issues Support Program Management Review and Technical Coordination Meeting Establish relationship with BSAS/160 th SOAR to ensure a positive Honeywell image Become prime Honeywell contact with BSAS with regards to reliability and maintainability for in-service avionic systems Foster customer satisfaction by maintaining regular contact and timely response to inquiries Due to the nature of this discipline, maybe required to work off-hours, on weekends, and/or holidays, on occasion Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance Travel: up to 10% as required and determined by the customer BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL In addition to a performance-driven salary, cutting-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
