Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking an Aircraft Equipment Expeditor Level 1/2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Clearfield, UT where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment. **This position requires a willingness to work on the B shift Monday - Thursday 2:00 pm - 12:00 am*** Responsible for the survey, control, dispatching, and follow-up of all types of tools pertaining to an assigned department or section of an aircraft, from control points, critical zones, and / or central control areas. Tools are in support of ground support and tooling efforts to allow for aircraft testing, launch and recovery efforts and system test equipment operations. Operate industrial equipment such as fork trucks, lift gates, tow tractors and hand trucks in the safe movement of equipment up to 9 tons. Anticipate and verify shortages and affix priorities to tool and equipment dispatch. Expedite to final destination by coordinating with requesting department (Engineering, Operations, Tooling, Planning, Material Control, etc.). Update equipment locations with CMMS and comply with all FAR requirements. Responsibilities: Review, control, dispatch, and follow-up of all types of tools and equipment within assigned call centers. Operate industrial equipment safely, including forklifts, lift gates, tow tractors, 20-ton overhead cranes, and hand trucks for the movement of up to 9 tons of equipment. Anticipate equipment shortages, determine priorities for tool and equipment dispatch, and expedite delivery by coordinating with relevant departments (Engineering, Operations, Tooling, Planning, Material Control, etc.). Maintain accurate equipment locations using Asset Smart and ensure compliance with all FAR requirements. Basic Qualifications: Aircraft Equipment Expeditor Level 1: High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience. Experience with work inside and outside in a warehouse / shop floor environment. Ability to obtain Special Program Access within a reasonable timeframe as required by the business. Aircraft Equipment Expeditor Level 2: High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience. Experience in aerospace (similar) or manufacturing industry. Experience with Assembly Tooling & Knowledge Experience with work inside and outside in a warehouse / shop floor environment. Ability to obtain Special Program Access within a reasonable timeframe as required by the business. Preferred Qualifications Experience in driving Forklifts Experience in aerospace (similar) or manufacturing industry. Experience with Assembly Tooling & Knowledge Active DOD Secret Clearance Experience in operating overhead crane Proficient in the use of industrial moving equipment and familiar with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and safety standards. Strong organizational skills and the ability to anticipate needs and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams across various departments. We also offer comprehensive benefits Salary Range: $33,300.00 - $55,500.00Salary Range 2: $39,500.00 - $65,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Aircrew Survival Flight Equipment Technician II

Purpose and Scope: The Aircraft Survival Flight Equipment Technician II manages, performs, and schedules inspections, maintenance, and adjustments of assigned aircrew flight equipment (AFE), associated supplies, and inventories assets. Essential Responsibilities: Inspects, maintains, packs and adjusts aircrew flight equipment such as flight helmets, oxygens masks, parachutes, flotation devices, survival kits, helmet mounted devices, aircrew night vision and other ocular systems, anti-G garments, aircrew eye and respiratory protective equipment, chemical biological protective oxygen masks and coveralls, and other types of AFE and aircrew chemical defense systems. Repairs fabric and rubber components, including protective clothing, thermal radiation barriers, flotation equipment, and various parachutes. Evaluates problems and determines feasibility of repair or replacement related to inspecting and repairing fabric, rubber equipment, and parachutes. Evaluates work orders for fabrication of authorized items. Operational and circuit checks for emergency signaling and communication devices such as survival radios and beacons. Housekeeping of all areas of work including shop; participate in FOD program. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum three (3) years of actual and recent O or I level H-60S/R/F/H Aircraft Maintenance experience is required or equivalent rotary aircraft experience. Requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance procedures, pyrotechnic and explosive devices, and aircraft egress systems. Detailed knowledge of the operation and characteristics of aircraft survival flight equipment and the ability to demonstrate and explain proper usage and operation of the equipment. Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) or Rapid Gate Pass. Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory. Must have a valid Driver’s License. Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with U.S. Naval repair maintenance operations on military aircraft highly preferred. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is frequently required to walk: use hands to finger, handle, or feel: reach with hands and arms: talk or hear: and taste or smell. Requires climbing on ladders, scaffolding, and platforms: standing, bending, and working in cramped areas: lifting and carrying tools and equipment which occasionally may weigh over 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
