SUMMARY: The Aviation Accessory Technician will perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Assemble limited fuel controls, or limited governors, or all fuel, oil, or air accessories. • Test limited fuel, oil, or air accessories (Excluding fuel controls and governors). • Utilize hand tools daily. • Utilize specialty tools for precision measurements daily. • Read and interpret technical data and drawings. • Operate test equipment as needed to ensure components pass function test. • Verify that all components are tested to the appropriate specifications to ensure airworthiness. • Troubleshoot components failing test or set up to determine root cause of failure. • Generate data plates for components completed with use of a laser system. • Document maintenance records of all repair work orders performed. • Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS: • High mechanical aptitude required. • 1-3 years of aviation accessary experience required. • Flexible to changing workloads/priorities based on customer requirements. • Maintain an orderly and productive work environment. • Ability to function in fast paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and data required. • Basic computer operating skills. SUMMARY: The Ignition Exciter Technician will perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Complete review of component work order to ensure proper work scope is initiated. Perform functional test for all Ignition Exciters inducted. Disassemble electrical aircraft engine accessories with the use of hand tools and soldering stations. Remove foam potting with precision detail to prevent damage from detail piece parts within the component. Perform functional test for all Ignition Exciters inducted. Document maintenance records of all repair work orders performed. Remove identification and safety labels from components with use of a scraper/razor blade. Ensures up-to-date knowledge of all tools and proper use of equipment within assigned area of responsibility. Administer foam potting back into the components after they are assembled. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED equivalent 1-2 years of relevant/technical work experience Flexible to changing workloads/priorities based on customer requirements. Maintain an orderly and productive work environment. Ability to function in fast paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality. Basic computer operating skills (Word). PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of relevant experience in aviation MRO industry. High Mechanical aptitude. SUMMARY: The Sr. Field Services Leader is responsible for providing expert technical support in development, expansion and performance of all field service activities and internal warranty reviews; establishes plans and strategies to expand existing customer support networks, expand market and segment penetration through technical expertise. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Provide field support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of aerospace engine accessories including, but not limited to fuel controls, governors, compensators, fuel pumps, valves. • Serve as a remote technical expert during scheduled maintenance, AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations, and system integration support. • Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of engine accessories. • Interface with OEMs, airline maintenance teams, and MRO facilities to ensure proper operation and integration of products. • Conduct training sessions for customer personnel on product operation, handling, and maintenance procedures. • Document field activities through detailed service reports, root cause analyses, and recommendations for corrective actions. • Provide feedback to engineering and product development teams on field issues and performance trends. • Support warranty claim assessments and facilitate resolution of customer concerns in alignment with contractual obligations. • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations, customer requirements, and internal quality standards. • Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related technical field • OR an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree. • equivalent military or technical training and experience may be considered. • 7+ years of relevant/technical work experience • 3+ years of direct experience with aerospace mechanical systems or engine accessories. • Strong understanding of turbine engine systems and accessory operation. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in a field environment. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of building customer trust and rapport. • Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting/documentation tools. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: • FAA A&P or equivalent certification or prior military aircraft maintenance experience. • Familiarity with aerospace quality systems and airworthiness regulations. • Familiarity with Pratt and Whitney and Rolls Royce turbine engines. • Knowledge of ERP/PLM systems. • Experience supporting military, business, general and commercial aviation programs. The technician performs maintenance tasks on aviation accessories in accordance with the current technical data provided in the Component Maintenance Manuals, Services Bulletins, Service Information Letters, Airworthiness Directives, Regulations and Quality procedures acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
