Preference given to candidates for our 2nd Shift schedule (2:30 pm to 10:30pm) Monday through Friday. 2nd Shift also provides a Shift Differential. In this role you will perform functions assigned in the service, repair and overhaul of aircraft and aircraft components, parts and accessories. Working closely with the Project Manager, Director of Maintenance, and Skills Leads, the Supervisor will oversee daily operations, assign workloads, and ensure compliance with company policies, FAA/EASA regulations, and OEM MPDs. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure quality standards, safety, and timely project delivery. The Supervisor will report daily progress to the Project Manager and address any obstacles to ensure successful project completion. Essential Job Functions: Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM) and Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) requirements. Oversee maintenance production flow, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope. Coordinate with all departments to ensure proper workflow, sequencing, and project completion. Hold daily meetings with Skills Leads to review project scope, requirements, and budgetary constraints. Provide daily status updates to the Project Manager, reporting progress and addressing concerns. Collaborate with Skills Leads to allocate billable man-hours and estimate hours for non-routine tasks, ensuring customer approval. Monitor project progress, comparing planned vs. actual man-hours, and ensure the project stays within budget and schedule. Maintain responsibility for the project’s budget and delivery schedule, ensuring both are me Marginal Job Functions: Delegate tasks as needed while maintaining overall responsibility for successful project completion. Provide leadership and mentorship to direct reports, promoting teamwork and high-quality workmanship for on-time aircraft re-delivery. Ensure safety standards and regulations are enforced in the work area to prevent accidents. Promote good housekeeping practices, fostering a safe and organized work environment. Verify proper tagging and storage of aircraft components and parts. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhancing efficiency and safety. Review personnel performance and aircraft progress daily, adjusting plans or schedules as needed to ensure timely task completion Qualifications: Required Must Carry A&P License 5 years of experience in Aircraft maintenance Bilingual Spanish High School diploma or equivalent Ability to safely drive and operate a standard shift automotive vehicle and other related equipment. Capable of working independently or under supervision. Flexibility to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate. Preferred Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and mathematical proficiency. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English with the capability to follow verbal and written instructions. Proficient in interpreting and applying technical data relevant to the position. Work Location: Aircraft maintenance hangar, flightline, and Avionics Shop. Potential Hazards: Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, electrical charges and radar waves, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery. Protective Equipment Required: Goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, safety harnesses, breathing equipment.
