QTEC Aerospace is seeking multiple ELECTRO-MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS to join our team of professionals in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidates will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic. Job Summary QTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidates will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs. The chosen candidates will use their specialized knowledge to maintain, repair, and upgrade computer and electronic devices. Job Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following: Installing software and databases to troubleshooting hardware problems Manage inventory, track call histories, and assist in system backups May train other technicians, update asset management, and configure new and existing devices Work with on-call support teams to resolve complex issues Use various software applications to manage tasks and maintain system security Clean, inspect, and detail pre-repair condition of all repairs Perform system and component failure analysis using validated diagnostic troubleshooting techniques Replace all non-conforming and preventive maintenance parts as needed Fully test and calibrate completed repairs, and provide comprehensive test data, documentation, and service reporting Handle most record keeping functions for Return Authorizations, Service Quotes, and Service Orders Drive lean practices and continuous improvement events central to our service business Minimum Education and Experience At least 2 years of depot forward maintenance experience Associate Certified Electronic Technician (CETs) certification. IPC – 610/620 Certification Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds Manual dexterity to handle all types of hand tools (wrenches, pliers, crimp, screwdriver, etc.) Demonstrated ability to review technical manuals, drawings, schematics Proficiency with Electrical Static Discharge control processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Self-motivated and customer-oriented Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Familiarity with any of the following: IPC/WHMA-A-620, MIL-DTL-22520, NASA-STD-8739, J-STD-001, and/or ANSI/ESD S20.20 IPC A-610 Class 2 or Class 3 soldering certificate Experience working with spacecraft, aircraft, rocket ordnance/rocket motors, and missile components Experience with assembling, repairing, and testing mechanical and electrical components and systems Experience developing troubleshooting procedures for electrical systems Ability to operate a Forklift, truck mounted crane, and other MHE associated equipment Experience in isolating and correcting malfunctions using automatic and semi-automatic program maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests, and Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) as well as industry standard commercial off the shelf external test equipment Proficient in the use of a wide range of test equipment to include multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters Proficiency performing electrical system diagnostics and troubleshooting to isolate and resolve root cause problems within a circuit card assembly (CCA) or electro-mechanical system Graduate of a commercial or military maintenance school or program Security Clearance Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance. This role involves operating fuel dispensing equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The Refueling Technician supports the logistics and operations of the emergency fueling team to ensure timely and effective fuel distribution in disaster-affected areas. These are seasonal positions and, if activated, will likely require travel on short notice, generally lasting from several days to a few weeks and possibly 30 days or more, depending on the disaster response needs. Ideal candidates for these missions will be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notification. Location: Disaster Response Locations in Alabama Duties and Responsibilities: Operate fuel dispensing equipment to refuel vehicles, generators, and other equipment in disaster-affected areas. Assist with safely dispensing fuel from tanker trucks into emergency utility vehicles and generators. Ensure accurate measurement and recording of dispensed fuel. Follow proper procedures for fuel handling and dispensing to prevent spills and accidents. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fuel dispensing equipment to ensure operational readiness. Description: USI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Maintenance and Facilities Analyst to provide expert support for Army aviation maintenance operations and facility management at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Fort Novosel, AL. This position focuses on the integration and sustainment of maintenance personnel, equipment, supplies, and facilities for rotary wing, fixed wing, and unmanned aircraft systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing aviation maintenance operations and facilities, supporting facility design standards, and guiding modernization efforts aligned with Army aviation training and sustainment priorities. Key Responsibilities: Manage and analyze aviation maintenance activities related to personnel, supply chain, equipment, and facility assets supporting Army rotary wing, fixed wing, and unmanned aerial systems. Provide functional expertise in airframe-specific maintenance, phase flow management, budgeting, and logistics, including integrated logistical analysis program (ILAP) fundamentals.
