We are looking for an A&P Mechanic to join our team! *Responsibilities:* * Perform inspections, repairs, and scheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications * Troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant systems, including engines, hydraulics, landing gear, and flight controls * Document all maintenance actions and complete accurate aircraft maintenance records * Maintain work facilities, tools, and equipment to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment * Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status, discrepancies, and upcoming inspections * Prepare work orders and plan inspections based on aircraft flight schedules and regulatory requirements * Order parts and prepare invoices for customers * Provide administrative support to the Maintenance Manager * Ensure compliance with all FAA, OSHA, and company safety procedures * Perform other duties as assigned *Qualifications:* * Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate * Valid State Driver’s License * Ability to read, write, and understand English, including interpreting maintenance manuals, technical data, and special operating instructions * Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds safely * Ability to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet * Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and within a team * Prior corporate jet maintenance experience preferred but not required *Company Description: * Bon Air Maintenance, Inc., is located at the Lynchburg Regional Airport at the North Ramp.
