Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team for piston aircraft maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of aircraft through meticulous maintenance and repair work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and have hands-on experience with various mechanical systems. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of aviation safety.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections (50 & 100 hour), routine maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems including engines, airframes, and avionics.
- Troubleshoot and Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure aircraft are in optimal working condition.
- Weld, fabricate, and assemble components as necessary to meet specifications and repair requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Collaborate with other mechanics to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations governing aircraft maintenance.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various aircraft systems effectively.
- Familiarity with avionics systems and their integration within aircraft operations.
- Ability to assemble components accurately while following precise specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
