Job Overview:

We are seeking a career-minded, motivated, licensed A&P Mechanic with a minimum of 18 months of experience working on wide-bodied aircraft in a heavy maintenance environment. This is a direct hire, long-term/permanent career opportunity - NOT a short-term contract! -- The ideal candidate will meet the requirements listed below, be available to start work within 4 weeks of accepting the offer and is an individual that is looking to join a company for a long-term career.

Duties

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, utilizing tools such as calipers, micrometers, and ammeters.
  • Perform sheet metal work as required, including fabrication and installation of components.
  • Operate coordinate measuring machines to ensure precision in measurements and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to coordinate repair schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

  • Must have an active A&P License
  • Must have a minimum of 18 months of experience working on wide bodied aircraft in a Heavy Maintenance Environment
  • Experience working on B757 or B767 is a big plus but not required
  • Must be able to work assigned shift (see available shifts under "Employment Details")
  • Basic Tools are required
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
  • Must be able to pass a 10 year criminal history background check
  • Must be able to commute to or relocate to Cincinnati, OH area prior to starting work (Housing/Relocation Assistance options are available - see "Employment Details")

Employment Details:

  • This is a DIRECT HIRE career opportunity - NOT a short-term contract
  • Company Benefits offered day 1

  • Compensation: $36-$44.50/hr (DOE and relocation options)
  • Relocation Assistance Options: Employees may choose between either 30 days of paid lodging OR $3000.00 in relocation money (paid in their 1st or 2nd check) OR +$2/hr.
  • Available Shifts: 4/10s OR 3/13s *2nd and 3rd shift are the only schedules available at this time) 2nd Shift Start: 4:00 PM Finish: 2:30 AM ; 3rd Shift Start: 11:00 AM Finish: 7:30 PM

Pay: $36.00 - $44.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
