A&P Mechanic

Job Summary
As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P Mechanic) you will play a pivotal role in performing maintenance, repair, and inspection activities. You will be a part of a team of skilled technicians, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Technical Contribution
• Provide technical expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft being serviced.
• Oversee and actively participate in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
• Team Involvement:
• Assist in leading a team of aircraft maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Coordinate work schedules and assignments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all maintenance actions.
• Quality Assurance:
• Apply a rigorous quality assurance program for all aircraft maintenance activities.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Communication:
• Collaborate with other departments, including operations and logistics, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize aircraft downtime.
• Provide regular updates on maintenance status and any potential issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Training and Development:
• Identify training needs and opportunities for professional development within the maintenance team.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

• Corpus Christi, TX 78406 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Corpus Christi, TX 78406: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
