Higher Standards Aerospace (HSA) is an FAA/EASA 145 Repair Station dedicated to excellence in aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO). We specialize in providing reliable, cost-effective solutions with an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and turnaround time.

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Supervisor to lead our hydraulic department and support our continued growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary

The Hydraulic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the hydraulic shop, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. This role will manage a team of technicians, coordinate workflow, and ensure high-quality output for hydraulic components.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise, train, and mentor hydraulic technicians, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

· Plan and monitor shop work orders to ensure on-time delivery and turnaround time goals are met.

· Provide technical guidance on troubleshooting, repairs, and testing of hydraulic components.

· Oversee compliance with FAA, EASA, and internal quality standards.

· Assist in developing new capabilities.

· Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Customer Service teams to address issues and meet customer requirements.

· Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and records in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in aviation hydraulic component maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

· Strong knowledge of FAA/EASA 145 Repair Station requirements.

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

· Strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance.

· Hands-on experience with hydraulic pumps, actuators, valves, and other components is preferred.

Preferred

· A&P license or equivalent technical certification.

· Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

· Experience using MRO software (e.g., Quantum, Pentagon).

Pay: $70,140.00 - $75,000.00 per year
