Job description
Join a leading aviation organization as a Traveling Aircraft Mechanic supporting Boeing 747, 757, 767, or 777 operations across the globe. This is a high-responsibility, hands-on position that combines expert-level aircraft maintenance with international travel and third-party team oversight.
What You’ll Do:
- Travel with assigned widebody aircraft on a 20-on / 10-off schedule to destinations worldwide.
- Provide on-site line maintenance, troubleshooting, and AOG recovery services in varied environments.
- Supervise and coordinate third-party vendors and local maintenance teams to ensure compliance with FAA/EASA and internal standards.
- Act as a technical liaison between flight crews, dispatch, engineering, and global maintenance providers.
- Conduct aircraft inspections, document work, and uphold all maintenance standards and procedures.
- Interface with MCC, Quality Control, Materials, and Planning departments to coordinate repairs and scheduling.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to increase fleet reliability.
- Represent the company with professionalism in all international interactions and settings.
What You Bring:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – Required
- 8+ years of experience with Boeing 747, 757, 767, 777 or similar widebody aircraft
- 2+ years of Flight Mechanic / Traveling Aircraft Mechanic
- Prior experience supervising maintenance teams and vendor oversight
- Extensive international travel experience and ability to deploy with short notice
- Strong troubleshooting, inspection, and documentation skills
- Valid passport and ability to meet international entry and security requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a SIDA badge and pass all required background screenings
- Willingness to work variable hours, holidays, and weekends as needed

Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
