Primary Responsibilities Include: • Provide technical support to SNC customers in order to give quick problem assessment and corrections for the fielded Flight Training Devices, Mission Trainers, and desktop trainers • Responsible for providing outstanding customer-centered quality support and service ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction • Responsible for documenting all customer interactions and must implement and/or support implementation for hardware, software, or training issue changes according to approved SNC instructions • Ability to and responsibility to interface by all media (written, email, verbal, electronic, face to face etc.) • Responsible for the setup, configuration, repair, break/fix, moves/add/changes and integration of new and existing computing hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies and peripherals • Perform preventative maintenance and setup for a variety of simulator related equipment and locations • Perform maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, SOPs and FAA/AF regulations • Document work being performed in turnover log of work carried over from the various shifts • Ensure availability of Simulator for training in compliance with requirements Qualifications You Must Have: Associate's degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience A higher level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, system prints, and documents Strong troubleshooting skills Basic understanding of electrical wiring concepts Knowledge of current IT technical standards as related to computers, network technology, and networking equipment Experience in Windows and Linux administration. Networking, sub-netting, VLAN, layer 2/3 routing and switching. Familiarity with Active Directory and group policy. Experience in Aviation Avionics and Electronics is a plus.
