Title: KC-135 Analyst Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary KBR is searching for an experienced Aircraft Analyst to study, design, prepare specifications, and perform services related to Aircraft systems employed on aircraft subsystems and components to include the associated support equipment, test stands, maintenance, repair, and diagnostic equipment. Role and Responsibilities Looking at and Analyzing Data. The ability to use data effectively to improve assigned projects and systems including retrieval of aircraft maintenance entries both from the field and depot level, interpretation, validation, and verification of the data in accordance with applicable technical orders, initiating revisions for data not in accordance with technical orders, documentation of errors and corrective actions. Must maintain the ability to independently determine and document maintenance tasks complete with analysis identifying life cycle times for systems, sub-systems, components and attaching structure, analyzing the results in accordance with engineering drawings, requirements and technical orders and reporting in a concise, factual presentation. Knowledge Includes vast familiarity with the data available to you in the form of engineering drawings, technical orders and Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) Lists and technical orders; knowledge of the goals of your projects; understanding the needs of your customers; and willingness to explore creative approaches to using data. Ability to analyze data and establish requirements for technical objectives and characteristics is a must. Maintenance/Repair Knowledge. Should have extensive repair and maintenance experience on heavy military aircraft types (Multi-engine, refueling, transport, surveillance, and or bomber). Knowledgeable of a wide range of maintenance concepts, principles, and practices of systems/equipment is desired. Knowledgeable of required security and safety regulations, practices, and procedures. Skill in providing technical advice in terms of oral and written briefings, reports, and recommendations to leadership, maintenance technicians, engineers, etc. Technical Data. Skill in analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and technical data; and, identifying and analyzing complex problems and developing innovative solutions. Workload Management. Ability to plan, organize, and reprioritize work to meet challenging deadlines. Navigating Database Software. Ability to use database software to find records, sort, review, edit, print, and other functions. Ability to use built-in forms and reports in a database. Able to explore software applications and learn various functions and features. Able to write queries and reports using available tools, copying data into Excel or other formats for further analysis. Ability to use computer applications in support of planning, designing, analysis, and reporting. Logistics Management. Knowledgeable of many logistics concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials. Knowledgeable of logistics issues and best practices sufficient to plan, design, test, troubleshoot, evaluate, and oversee the development and/or sustainment of aerospace systems or devices. Knowledgeable of logistics practices and procedures as they pertain to sustainment, modification, logistics, supply chain, manpower, funding, production and maintenance management principles, concepts, policies, and systems. Data Integrity. Ability to understand definitions, program guidelines, and sources of data. Able to develop clear channels of communication. Able to review data and work with colleagues to make sure that data is accurate. Ability to be aware of potential weaknesses in the data when analyzing and using the data. Managing Accounts and Files. Ability to keep track of online accounts. Knowledgeable on how to organize files and folders on your computer or network. Roles and Responsibilities Collect information to analyze and evaluate aircraft field level and depot level maintenance, aircraft, system, subsystem, component, and parts reliability and maintainability and supportability requirements and issues regarding critical safety items. Support the development/assessment of the sectionalized aircraft depot maintenance work spec package/requirements, schedules, and man-hours. Analyze and assist in creation of aircraft depot maintenance task requirements and associated man-hours Bill of Work (BOW) and Bill of Materials (BOMs). Prepare detailed charts/diagrams outlining maintenance and supply requirements and processes using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio/Project. Perform in-depth analysis in the support of aircraft integrity programs and processes to determine and document the supportability analysis regarding supply and maintenance needs. Serve as an analyst/supportability liaison between customer team members and technical staff, field level user and depot maintenance representatives, and supply chain members to document needs, define requirements, and provide problem identification and resolution. Input and analyze data to assist in ensuring mechanical, avionics systems, engine systems, and structural systems, subsystems, and component integrity is maintained for the weapon systems operational service life. Utilize database systems and application documentation as directed. Recommend service life extension programs, scheduled maintenance, modifications, inspections, repairs, and/or technical order changes as necessary to keep the weapon system viable. Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed. Support research, analysis, and provide dispositions regarding requests for engineering assistance forms. Provide support and research to resolve projected parts, maintenance, and technical data issues. Investigate parts supportability regarding future diminishing parts issues. Perform other similar duties as assigned in support of the Weapon System. Requirements Associate's degree with minimum 5 years' experience or 8+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree Experience as a maintainer, technician, logistician, maintenance planner/scheduler, supply manager, or equipment specialist is a requirement. Applicant must possess experience in the following: MS Office, word processing, data management and records keeping. The successful applicant must be capable of working independently and in a team environment and possess good communication skills, both written and oral. Job Overview GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general direction of the Sr Security Analysis Manager, works closely with the other members of the team to develop and implement a comprehensive information security program. This includes coordinating implementation, optimization, and operation of vulnerability, penetration, and patch scans for network, hardware, and applications. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs control and vulnerability assessments to identify control weaknesses and assess the effectiveness of existing controls and recommends remedial action. 2. Executes risk assessment activities, analyzes the results of audits (performed by other groups) to produce recommendations of acceptable risk and risk mitigation strategies. 3. Works on deploying, tuning and running vulnerability-scanning and penetration-testing tools. 4. Reports residual risk, vulnerabilities and other security exposures, including misuse of information assets and noncompliance, to DFW's management. 5. Collaborates on critical IT projects to ensure that security issues are addressed throughout the project life cycle. 6. Performs analysis on threat alerts from various security tools, including Intrusion Detection and Prevention tools, firewalls, antivirus systems, user behavior analytics tools, proxy devices ( Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, etc.) which requires demonstrable security incident response and/or insider threat experience to determine if the alert is a false positive, a security event, an actual attack, and/or a security incident. 7.
