Qualifications * Driver's License (Required) * US work authorization (Required) * Avionics: 5 years Minimum * Airframe & Powerplant License (Preferred) Full Job Description We are a busy Part 145 Certified Repair Sation located at the airport in Grants Pass Oregon. We are looking for a qualified and motivated avionics technician. This is a full-time position requiring a thorough understanding of aircraft avionics systems, installations, repair, and maintenance. The ideal candidate must possess a working knowledge of various manufacturers' products including Garmin, Aspen, Avidyne, BendixKing, L3, S–TEC, Insight, JPI, MidContinent, and more. The technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs of avionics equipment in accordance with the repair station manual, manufacturer’s manuals, and FAA regulations. Flexibility to perform Inspections and maintenance on GA aircraft, some corporate aircraft, and occasional line maintenance as it comes in. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to lead and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision. *Job Responsibilities* * Aircraft wiring, pitot-static system maintenance. * System troubleshooting * VFR/IFR Certifications * Installation and service of the latest Avionics Products * Customer interaction * Fieldwork as needed *Job Requirements* * At least five (5) years of prior experience _required_. * GA experience preferred. * Good attention to detail. * Ability to understand and interpret aircraft technical data. * Ability to effectively communicate in English. * Ability to achieve established goals by working with others as part of a team. * Valid Driver’s License. * Reliable transportation.
