We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Engine Inspector, with a strong background in maintenance, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting and inspection of PT6A Series engines. This role involves day-to-day decisions of airworthiness, directing and orienting Inspectors to execute their work in accordance with procedures and guaranteeing compliance with FAA regulations. They are also responsible for ensuring critical aviation safety standards are adhered to by maintenance personnel. This position is a DOT Drug & Alcohol compliance position. Main Responsibilities Quality, Safety and Environment • Ensure maintenance performed on aircraft systems is conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures • Certification of work and release of aircraft systems complies with relevant Licence Categories • Actively participate and comply with JAAS WH&S and Environment programs and Aviation Safety Management System People Leadership • Operational management of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Fitters) providing clear directions for allocated maintenance Commercial Management • Daily management and control of assigned aircraft maintenance • Responsible for the adequate allocation of resources available for timely completion of assigned aircraft systems modification, maintenance, repair or installation • Ensure parts are ordered at correct timeframe to meet project or job deadlines whilst maintaining appropriate cost structure • Review job packs for assigned projects or jobs and ensure they are complete and reflect customer requirements • Review daily reporting on estimated versus actual hours and take action as directed to correct or prevent over runs • Using the company ERP to ensure time and attendance is correlated with projects Sales and Customer Management • Provide regular feedback to the Director of Maintenance on the progress of planned system modification, maintenance, service or installation • Provide input into response to customer queries and complaints Main Responsibilities Cont. Regulatory and Compliance • Ensure maintenance performed on assigned aircraft system is conducted in compliance with the relevant Civil Aviation regulations, Military or OEM requirements • Accountable for updating own knowledge on regulatory requirements Further tasks • Actively support and participate in the JAAS Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the JAAS Governance and Polices Manual. • Ensure smooth workflow on assigned jobs with minimal disruptions by effective use of allocated manpower and resources • Aircraft work packs and logbook entries are completed in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements • Ensure assigned modification, maintenance, repair or installation performed is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant Civil Aviation Regulations • ASRs (Over & Above defects) are raised at time of identification of additional work and are accurate • Track progress of work to ensure budgetary control is maintained. • Provide directions to AMEs and Technicians to assist them to meet budgets and customer delivery schedules. • Implement remedial action to correct project or job overruns • Provide input into parts ordering for assigned projects to ensure parts are available to meet scheduled delivery times. • Regular audit of project documentation to ensure accuracy and integrity of data. • Provide technical input into customer queries and/or complaints. Minimum Requirements Hold an unrestricted GCAA license with B412 endorsement. (Preference will be given to candidates additionally holding CASA & EASA and B429 type rating) • Strong knowledge of CAR 145 • Recent B412 5-year inspection experience. • Experience working in an aircraft maintenance facility performing system maintenance and modifications • Able to run several projects at once • General Aviation Installation and Design experience • Demonstrated understanding of Aviation regulatory requirements for Aircraft systems maintenance • People Management skills in an operational environment • Experience in a customer focused work environment with multiple priorities and project deadlines • Computer literate at basic level in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems • Company and Customer focused • Result driven • Proactive and self-motivated • Team Player

F-16 Aircraft Mechanic III - 17442 Description Estimated Start Date: September 2025 Description: The F-16 Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for: Aircraft recovery, parking, safing, and preparing for depot induction and delivery; safe towing operations; aircraft post-flight and preflight inspections, aircraft refueling, engine run, launch, and recovery operations; assisting other team members in aircraft structural and avionic/electrical modifications, upgrades, and repairs; Performing aircraft maintenance, including, but not limited to, aircraft servicing, repair, inspection; status reporting, technical, and logistical support. What you will be responsible for: Reads, interprets, and adheres to technical orders, manuals, blueprints, service bulletins, and other related documentation. Perform applicable F-16 related maintenance tasks, including special certification & qualification tasks, e.g., engine runs, servicing or aircraft towing in accordance with applicable F-16 technical orders. Complete scheduled and unscheduled F-16 maintenance, parts ordering, and other aircraft functions. Perform routine duties within the first echelon of aircraft supervision, such as: aircraft servicing, including hydraulics, engine oil, lubrication, fuel, canopy cleaning, wheel/tire replacement, brakes, light bulbs. Troubleshoot and assist with the repair, replacement, and rebuild of aircraft structures and components. Perform flight control and other component rigging and calibration. Service aircraft as prescribed in applicable F-16 Technical Orders. Determine airworthiness of aircraft and associated components. Interact with company Maintenance Operation Center (MOC), the customer, and other program representatives in matters concerning aircraft airworthiness, operational readiness, and aircraft systems troubleshooting. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications What you will need to be successful in this role: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance is required. Must meet one of the following requirements: A Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance. An Associate's degree plus 4 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance. High School Diploma plus 8 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance. F-16 experience is strongly preferred, but other fighter jet experience may be considered. Must have experience with working from blueprint drawings, diagram, specifications, service manuals, sketches, templates, and other incomplete data.
