This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering up to a $15,000 Sign On Bonus. What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic: You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) : Mechanical Duties : Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery. Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines. Use of Tools and Equipment : Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies. Ensures compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins affecting company aircraft. Removes known unsafe aircraft and those that do not comply with the CFRs from service, and ensures the airworthiness of aircraft returned to service. Ensures operational readiness of the aircraft with as little schedule impact as practical. Serves as liaison between the company and the FAA regarding all maintenance policies. Maintains certification and technical recency requirements per 14 CFR 65.83.
