You are guaranteed 40 hours pay a week and still on call for the remainder of your shift but allowed to go home to spend time with your family or handle any personal matters. * *Great Compensation:* Top technicians can earn *over $100,000/year*, paid hourly and based on experience and overtime worked. *Hourly rate is $33-44/hr*. * *Comprehensive Benefits:* Medical and Prescription coverage, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, AD&D, 401(k), PTO, employee assistance and more. * *Huge Impact:* Feel good knowing you are repairing aircraft that contributes to the well-being of patients and their families. * *Top of the Line Training:* You will be provided with on-the-job training as well as opportunities to be sent to OEM for their direct training as well *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Ensure that all company employees make safety the number one priority in all activities. * Participate in the company’s Safety System and is familiar with the Safety policies, processes, and procedures. * Inform their supervisor of any discrepancies or unairworthy conditions found during performance of work assigned. * Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and alterations on Company equipment as required and make appropriate entries into Aircraft Logs for the work they perform. * Request aviation parts and supplies in order to maintain an adequate and orderly inventory of all stock items to ensure prompt repairs for operational readiness. * Maintain aircraft in airworthy conditions. * Maintain work area in a clean and professional manner. * Provide timely on call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary. * Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components utilizing applicable current maintenance manuals. * Advise the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service. * Complete maintenance as assigned by the Regional Maintenance Manager on all aircraft and components. * Upon installation or removal of any component or assembly, verify by physical inspection or markings on the part that the part number and serial number match the associated documentation Parts Tag, 8130-3, 337 or any other maintenance release. * Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by the Director of Operations, Director of Maintenance, Chief Pilot, Maintenance Operations Director, Director of Safety, or Regional Maintenance Manager. * Perform the duties as assigned by the Maintenance Operations Director or Regional Maintenance Manager, including but not limited to aircraft and component inspections, repairs and alterations in a safe, accurate and efficient manner. * Validate/Confirm the data in the Status Report concerning the aircraft he or she is working on. * Performs Other duties as assigned. *About the Company:* Apollo MedFlight provides 24-hour emergency and non-emergency air medical transport both in the air and on the ground. *Job description* Aircraft Avionics Install Technicians work location *Centennial, CO* DoD Program long term contract -Per Diem for those that qualify. * Must have own tools * US Citizen * 4 years experience+ * Tools required * Must have secret clearance or the ability to obtain * Per Diem available for those that qualify *Terminations, ring outs, cable assemblies, terminating connectors, routing wire* FAA Drug Test *Responsibilities:* - Install, assemble, and maintain various avionics systems according to schematics, blueprints and specifications - Fabricate and modify parts as necessary to complete installations - Weld and solder components together as needed - Perform sheet metal work including cutting, bending, and shaping materials - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area *Skills:* - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers - Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks -Terminations, ring outs, cable assemblies, terminating connectors, routing wire Note: Prior experience as an Installer or in a similar role is preferred. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this position.
